Not Your Friend

Sometimes, a simple "okay!" may trigger attending physicians to have a negative response towards you. Although most of my experiences thusfar with faculty and staff at my institution have been very positive, there are always unexpected reactions. Different attending physicians have different styles and levels of "friendliness" towards us intern/residents, and some may be more serious than others. I guess I'll just have to grow tougher skin!
