Team Creepy Crawlies

When I was on the VA service, I saw a plethora of strange presentations from chronically ill patients with poor means to obtain medical care. Jokingly, the nurses dubbed us the Team Creepy Crawlies because we saw so many different "gross" bugs through the three weeks that I was on the service. We saw scabies, bed bugs, treponema, and even maggots! 

Definitely never going to forget the wriggling, pulsating well on a blackened foot ....
